Constance Fromagerie & Cafe, Akron

We worked with a talented business owner who was expanding her business to include a brick and mortar location. This cafe needed a prep kitchen for her custom charcuterie boards in the back and a warm and cozy seating area up front so her customers had a gorgeous spot to meet up and enjoy custom boards, salads, and sandwiches. She had been eyeing this space for a while, and once it was available, the work started with us digging up the floor for plumbing, roughing in electrical, and bringing the storefront up to code. Once the new, blank canvas was ready, we added custom cabinetry, shelving, countertops, and appliances to fit the space. By taking advantage of the height of the room for some of the largest cabinets, we added a fair amount of storage for infrequently used items. Small details like brass toe kicks, a custom tile mosaic that we made in house, and vintage-inspired shelving finished off the cafe.
